2026–2027 VBDC Officer Election

As part of the Virginia Beach Democratic Committee’s reorganization process, members will elect new officers to lead the Committee for the 2026–2027 term. These officers will play a critical role in organizing, mobilizing, and delivering Democratic victories in the years ahead.

  • Chair

  • Vice Chair of Operations

  • Vice Chair of Precincts

  • Treasurer

  • Secretary

Election Details

  • When: Monday, January 5, 2026, 6:00PM
    Check-In Begins: 5:30 PM

Members planning to participate in the election should arrive by 5:30 PM to allow sufficient time for check-in. Attendees will be asked to sign a Declaration and will be issued a ballot for voting.

Eligibility to Vote
In accordance with the Democratic Party of Virginia Party Plan, voting in the January 5 officer elections is limited to Reorganization Members—those who were duly elected at the December 1 caucus.

This election is an important opportunity to help shape the leadership and direction of the Virginia Beach Democratic Committee as we continue building a strong, people-powered Democratic organization.
