Virginia Early Voting: The Numbers
Virginia’s early in-person voting period for the November general election began September 18 and continues through October 31.
Early voting participation began quickly. According to data compiled by the Virginia Public Access Project by September 22, the reported statewide total had reached 94,284 ballots, including 71,606 in-person ballots and 22,678 returned mail ballots, compared with 33,760 at the same point in 2022. Plan ahead and make your voting plan: Early voting continues through October 31, with additional weekend voting opportunities scheduled in October.
