🚨‼️🚨Call to Action! – Virginia Beach — It’s time to be heard! 📢
Virginia Beach City Council is considering major revisions to the Interfacility Traffic Area & Vicinity Master Plan (ITA Plan) — without public input. That means land between Indian River Road, Elbow Road, Dam Neck Road, Princess Anne Road down to the North Landing River (including the area around the Princess Anne Athletic Complex and lands south toward the Blue Line) — thousands of acres — could be carved up for new development (industrial or otherwise) without you ever getting a say.
We call on City Council to re-open public engagement, stakeholder outreach, and citizen input before any revisions to the ITA & Vicinity Master Plan are finalized. Citizens and stakeholders helped shape the 2017 version — we deserve that same voice in any changes now.
