The Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia invites Democrats, community leaders, advocates, and supporters from across the Commonwealth to an unforgettable evening of recognition, celebration, and cultural pride at its 2026 Annual Gala.

Held Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Hilton McLean, the evening will feature cuisine, storytelling, and performances from talented AANHPI artists and performers, alongside a keynote address from Roger Lau, Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee.

Guests will also hear from Ghazala Hashmi, the nation’s first South Asian elected Lieutenant Governor, with emcee duties led by Bismah Ahmed, the first South Asian woman crowned Miss DC for America.

Sponsors will receive special recognition, VIP Reception access, and opportunities to connect with distinguished guests before the program begins.
