  1. Should every high school graduate be entitled to at least two years of college, paid for by the government? Discuss what stipulations (if any) there should be to qualify for this free education. If you disagree, what government assistance do you believe should be available for high school graduates attending college?

  2. Many people are predicting record high voter turnout for the Presidential Election of 2008. Voter turnout has been very low in previous elections for the 18-25 year old age group. Do you think it will be different this year? Why or why not? What do you think the causes are of low voter turnout in this age group?

  3. Please discuss what you believe to be the top two issues facing our country today as if you were running for President of the United States. (War in Iraq, health care, education, immigration, the economy, etc.) What would be your stances on these issues? Why are these the two most important?

Good Luck!

Congratulations again to last years 2007 Scholarship winners!
